Hikaru Todoroki (轟 輝 Todoroki Hikaru?) is a young member of Rescue Force and the current R1 and later gained access to transform into R1 Max. His main vehicles are Core Striker (Max) and Rescue Striker.
Character History[]
Childhood[]
During his childhood, Hikaru was friends with Ryuji and caused some mischief together. During one time, Hikaru managed to save his soul mate's life. Since then, Hikaru decided to join Rescue Force and vow to save lives no matter what.
Enrollment in Rescue Academy[]
As Hikaru has dreamed of, he attended Rescue Academy to become a member of Rescue Force. He was in special training, due to his skills in Emergency vehicle operation
Rescue Force[]
Hikaru finally joined Rescue Force and met the current members: Eiji Ishiguro the captain, Kyosuke Jinrai (R2), Rei Kozuki (R3), and Juri Shiraki (R4). Since he was not yet an official member, he had to prove himself with his team.
R1[]
R1 Princess alongside R2 Princess
In episode 44, while under the effects of the Kumanomi Bacteria, Hikaru was turned into a girl dubbed "Hikako" due to the disease having the gender altering genes of a clownfish. When she equipped into her suit, she became a "Rescue Princess" with a long frilly orange and white skirt attached to the Rescue Suit and a pink flower on the right "ear" of the helmet. Due to the former male's hormones and altered, more feminine mentality, R1 was humiliated by Sica bullying her and was beaten up by Axts until Rei and Juri saved her. Later she was seen with female Kyosuke acting like cheerleaders for Rei and Juri during their battle with a giant monster clownfish formed from the bacteria. Hikaru was returned to normal at the end of the episode by Rei using the Rescue Crusher's Whale Mode to distribute an airborne vaccine.
Arsenal
- Rescue Ribbon- A parody of typical Magical Girl weapons, the Rescue Ribbon was a blue gymnastics ribbon attached to the Rescue Breaker. It was completely useless in battle as it was an ordinary ribbon.
