Kenji Narukami (鳴神 剣二 Narukami Kenji?) is the eponymous hero of the series Madan Senki Ryukendo. He is the Madan Swordman Ryukendo (魔弾剣士リュウケンドー Madan Kenshi Ryuukendō?), the Madan Warrior who fights with a sword.
Character History[]
Kenji is a young man who has moved to Akebono City as a new detective. Although he is a detective in the Criminal Division, Akebono's office also patrols in police clothes due to a serious labor shortage. On the way there, he was mistaken for a demon upon arrival. After defending a dog in the street, he found himself confronting a Demon Beast, being chosen as a warrior by Gekiryuken to become Ryukendo. Since then, he works at SHOT without knowing anything, saving the day more often as the Madan Warrior. His parents' house is a school of swordsmanship to fight monsters called Narukami Ryujin-ryu, and the teacher is his grandfather. He was quick to adapted since he had been training before becoming Ryukendo.

Ryukendo's dragon-based default form can be accessed by inserting the Ryuken Key into Gekiryuken. Change to 3 modes with the power of Madan Keys. Unlike Ryuguno and Ryujino, Ryukendo was declared as a "child" because he is a warrior who is still growing and has not been completed. Ryukendo can also call his Juuoh, Brave Leon which can turn into a motorcycle called Leon Trike, in which he can ride to perform his Trinity Finishing attack.
By inserting the Final Key into Gekiryuken, Ryukendo can performing his finishing attack, Madan Slash Adittionally, if Ryukendo uses Twin Edge Gekiryuken, he can perform Super Madan Slash . .

Fire Ryukendo

Fire Ryukendo (ファイヤーリュウケンドー Faiyā Ryuukendō?) is Ryukendo's fire-based powered-up form, activated by the Fire Key. In this form, he has excellent power and is resistant to heat attacks. Ryukendo can call for his personal JuuOh, Fire Kong, which can turn into cannons. Fire Ryukendo utilizes a variety of flame-based attacks. His finishing move is Burning Slash.Adittionally, if Ryukendo uses Twin Edge Gekiryuken, he can perform Super Burning Slash

Aqua Ryukendo

Aqua Ryukendo (アクアリュウケンドー Akua Ryuukendō?) is Ryukendo's water-based powered-up form, activated by the Aqua Key. A form with excellent mobility. Aqua Shark is Ryukendo's JuuOh in this form, which can turn into a hoverboard, and Ryukendo has powers over water and ice. His finishing move is Freezing Slash. Adittionally, if Ryukendo uses Twin Edge Gekiryuken, he can perform Super Freezing Slash

Thunder Ryukendo

When Kenji first used his Thunder Ryukendo (サンダーリュウケンドー Sandā Ryuukendō?) form, he found himself unable to transform. Eventually though, he not only got the Thunder Key working, but also found his JuuOh, Thunder Eagle, which can turn into a set of wings for Ryukendo, dubbed as Thunder Wing Ryukendo. Thunder Ryukendo's powers include lightning and electricity, and has higher ability than other forms. His finishing move is Lightning Slash. Adittionally, if Ryukendo uses Twin Edge Gekiryuken, he can perform Super Lightning Slash

God Ryukendo is Ryukendo's super form, accessed by inserting the God Ryuken Key into the upgraded God GekiRyuKen, evolving his armor and his Juuoh, Brave Leon into God Leon. His God Mode also affects his Fire, Water, and Thunder modes. His finisher in this mode is called Dragon King Madan Slash.

Ultimate Ryukendo

Ultimate Ryukendo is a gold and silver power up that made its appearance in episode 45. It was activated through the use of the Ultimate Key found in Rock Crimson's body. Ultimate Ryukendo is powered by the Ultimate Dragon, which attaches to God GekiRyuKen (its body attached to the Shield part, while its tail become the blade extension). His suit is white-and-gold, with a gray visor and a blue crystal on his chest. Ultimate Ryukendo can combine his four JuuOh to create the more powerful Raijin Dragon. Its finishing move is Ultimate Madan Slash.
